Infant, Child & Adult CPR
Certification class!
Date and Time to Be Announced!
This vital skill is a must for every parent and caregiver! This American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR certification course is three hours long and covers all the skills you will need to respond in an emergency.
You will gain the skills to assist an infant, child or adult who is choking, whose heart has stopped beating or who has stopped breathing. Accidents happen in a variety of settings and we discuss how to help drowning victims, auto accident victims, home injury victims, work related injury victims and more.
You will learn how to settle your own emotions in order to provide efficient care to your family members or strangers. You will also learn how to protect yourself, both physically and legally as you provide assistance.
In this class we talk about the appropriate CPR technique, the physiology of why CPR works, what to do when the victim responds, and more. We keep the class sizes small so that each participant gets individualized instruction and plenty of practice with state of the art CPR manikins.
In addition to becoming confident in your life-saving knowledge and abilities, you will receive an American Heart Association manual and certification card valid for two years
Classes are taught by Mary Stelter, a Certified American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor, DONA Certified Doula and ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator.
Come join us for a chance to win a baby care basket full of goodies valued at $150.00 and receive samples of great products for all!
