"Our collaboration with The Joy in Birthing Foundation, and its director Giuditta Tornetta, has been such a blessing for our program. Our clients tend to be socially isolated and very low income; being able to link them with volunteer doulas for support during the birth of their babies has been incredibly valuable. The doulas have demonstrated great compassion and sensitivity for our clients both before and after the births of their babies.
