Childbirth Preparation Class Coming Soon!
Would you like to learn effective techniques to cope with labor? Do you want to know what to expect at the hospital? Do you wish to know more about breastfeeding?
Our classes are designed to provide evidence-based information, tools for birth and postpartum preparation. We offer our classes to clients in financial distress including but not limited to the clients of our Community Partners (Welcome Baby, WIC, St. Anne's, Alliance of Children's Rights, and more.). If you are not a client of our Community Partners, then there is a charge per class. The fee is donated to the Joy In Birthing Foundation to continue to fund our childbirth classes and doula services.
In our childbirth preparation class you will learn:
• The phases of labor
• Breathing, Coping and Relaxation Techniques
• Hospital Protocols
• Medical Procedures and Interventions
• How to Create a Birth Plan
• The Moments after Birth: Newborn Care and Breastfeeding
Come join us for a chance to win a baby care basket full of goodies valued at $150.00 and receive samples of great products for all!
