Congratulations on your upcoming birth and new addition to the family! Seeking a doula for this exciting time is a smart move for all types of families and can be affordable for everyone. The Joy In Birthing Foundation provides professional doulas who perform pro bono work for those that apply and meet our financial requirements. Our doulas work very hard for each of their clients and incur costs in supporting your labor and birth including parking, gas, childcare, and other expenses. We highly suggest that you gift your doula some amount of her normal fee, we suggest $100-$200. Any amount helps offset her own personal costs. If you do not qualify for pro bono services, we will be happy to find a doula who can fit your needs and work within your budget.
